How do I play?

Open How to Play on the home screen, or replay the intro from Settings → General → Re-run intro. In short: play a card equal to or lower than the top of the pile, 10s clear the pile, and the first player out of cards wins the round.

Playing with friends nearby

One player creates an online game, the others tap Join. Both phones need Wi-Fi or Bluetooth on, and Sweep needs Local Network permission (iOS Settings → Sweep).

Adding friends

Open Friends and tap Turn on (this uses iCloud — see our Privacy Policy). Then scan each other’s QR code or share your player code. You need to be signed in to iCloud.

Blocking and reporting

Press and hold a player’s seat or chat message during a game, or tap the … / ✋ button on a friend or friend request, then choose Block or Report. Blocked players can’t chat with you, send you requests or invites, or join games you host. Reporting also blocks them and emails us the details. Manage your block list in Settings → Friends.

Community rules

Pick a display name that’s friendly — no hate, harassment, sexual or violent names.
Don’t impersonate other people.
Don’t use Sweep to harass, threaten or spam anyone.

We remove names and players that break these rules, and players who repeatedly do are removed from friends and invites.

Deleting your data

Settings → Privacy → Delete my profile & data, or email us.
