What Payroll Prep does
Payroll Prep connects JobTread time tracking to QuickBooks Desktop payroll, so hours are never typed twice. Claude reads every time entry for the pay period and checks it the way a careful bookkeeper would: missing punches, overtime, entries on the wrong job, and hours that don't match the schedule.
Instead of a week of data entry, you get a short list of flagged entries to approve. Once you approve, the payroll batch is built in QuickBooks Desktop with a change log, so you can see exactly what was adjusted and why.
Timesheets live in JobTread and payroll lives in QuickBooks Desktop, so someone re-keys every hour by hand, chases missing punches by text, and fixes mistakes after checks go out.
